WAYS TO INCORPORATE RECLAIMED WOOD INTO YOUR HOME
Using reclaimed wood in interiors is big right now. Reclaimed wood is a way to add warmth to your space, recycle building materials, and add character rather than using store bought lumber (not that that isn't beautiful also).
Lynn Valley Road was a project I was thrilled to work on the styling and decorating of the whole home after a major renovation by Hasler Homes.
They installed a beautiful live edge bar top, shelves in the study nook, and in the bathroom, using reclaimed railroad ties for robe hooks.

There are a ton of ways you can bring some charm into your home using reclaimed wood.
Add a little white shiplap to your reclaimed mantle and you have a stunning modern farmhouse vibe.

If you have a non working fireplace, but want to keep the ambience, fill it with wood to create that rustic cabin vibe.

Using aged wood doesn't mean you can't use it on your modern
design. It creates the perfect balance between new and old.

SHELVING & STORAGE:
The options for wood shelving are endless. If you are like me and love industrial design, you can fuse several materials to create the look. Using plumbing fittings or reclaimed brackets/metal are a unique way to combine various materials.
